I am pregnant/breast feeding, am I still able to receive cosmetic injections?
Unfortunately, no. You are not a candidate for any medical cosmetic treatments. You can however book a skin care consultation!
How long after toxin is injected will I see results?
It usually takes 3-14 days for results of your treatment to take full effect. It is possible that during this time you may notice some slight unevenness as the muscles may absorb the toxin at different rates. Stronger muscles can take longer to relax than other muscle groups. It’s important to wait a full 2 weeks for reassessment.a
How many units of toxin will I need?
The number of units needed for a specific treatment will depend on a variety of factors, including the area being treated, the severity of wrinkles or lines, and the individuals muscle strength and desired results. A complimentary consult is highly encouraged for us to assess and advise the appropriate dosage.
I recently had a vaccine; can I attend my appointment?
We recommend a minimum of 2 weeks in between dermal fillers and Influenza (flu shot), Covid, and other vaccinations.
I have a rash/blemish/cold sore on the area of treatment – should I reschedule?
Yes. Please reschedule 24 hours in advance if you have a rash, cold sore or blemish on the area.
I am on antibiotics for an infection or in general haven’t been feeling well. Can I attend my appointment?
No. For your health and safety, we cannot treat you if you are on a course of antibiotics for an on-going infection. We also cannot treat you if you are feeling ill. Please make sure you are feeling well before proceeding with any medical injectables to promote optimal treatment outcome and reschedule if needed.
